Oh the memories! those were the days!

while my bird was in the oven, I delivered Tam's turkey to her, they eat at 5:30 - we eat at 2 or so - I got home about 1:15 and finished my dressing and taters and veggies and rolls, etc. - we ate and I cleaned up the mess and now I have a big ol' pot of sauce on the stove and the water is in the pot - just waiting to boil so I can salt it and cook my mini penne

2 lbs. mini penne will be a nice addition to her meal - and I'll have it delivered by 5:30

when I get home - finish cleaning anything that needs to be done - I like my kitchen to look like nothing happened to it

we'll have dessert then - and my night is my own -

Great pic Rick. I can barely remember having the whole bird on the table. It's usually only the breast with that cut into slices and placed on a serving counter. Last couple of years it hasn't been traditional at all.
