Is it as bad as it looks?

CF - We happened to see some pretty grisley footage out of Texas, on the early news this morning. Pictures of the God-awful draught conditions down your way. It was really pretty bad looking with the ground full of huge cracks and the cattle going nuts from the heat and lack of water. I hope it isn't as bad as it looked, where you are.
We'll certainly be thinking of you and remembering you all in our prayers. May you get some obviously much needed downpours soonest!

Heard from the folks tonight and Mum asked to be remembered to you. She hopes and prays for relief from the draught for you, too.

Ian, yes its as bad as it looks. Texas being as big as it is some places worse than others. Our farm crops are history. I am able to keep the grass around the house green, by watering. I have been putting out water for the wild animals and birds. Yes please pray for rain for Texas. CF
