It's freezing down here

"the big one" should be here by midnight tonight - wind chill below zero (typical here) and I still have a 5 foot ice mound on my sidewalk from the last one!

I don't think the kids will have school tomorrow - it's supposed to be really bad until Wednesday. And it's still fall....................

Our outside temp is 18 with a windchill around zero. We got a couple inches of snow last night with around one more inch due today. I have no plans to go out today.

It's still snowing here. Schools are closed, all county services are shut down. The worst of it is I won't be able to work today. We only have a few inches of snow, but it's enough to shut everything down. We have no snow removal equipment for the roads around here and it's not worth ending up in a ditch because people don't know how to drive in the snow.

This is supposed to warm north Louisiana but even we were predicted to be 22 degrees this morning. Don't know if we made it that low but it feels cold. However, the wind has died down from yesterday so the wind chill might not be too bad.

It's ONE degree here in Illinois this morning. We got snow and high winds here yesterday too. BUT the diff is we're equipped to deal with it well. You poor folks down south who aren't necessarily used to it- I feel for you's! Hang in there, be careful and stay cozy! :)

We've got the equipment - but they "reitred" 7 drivers and the new ones drive with the plows UP and nothing gets done - and they don't do the whole street - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Wind chill today is zero. I have been putting off taking out the garbage for hours lol. I have to get out tomorrow to get the hams I stored in my mother in laws freezer if they are to thaw in time. We are expecting snow, sleet and freezing rain tomorrow evening.
