Just taking a moment to say "goodby" for the summer to all my wonderful friends here

Hi all - I just wanted to take a moment to say "goodby" for the summer to all my fantastic friends here on the forum, as my husband and I will be leaving a week from today for England and Holland to spend some concerted time with family and just kick back and relax for a bit. This has been a pretty hectic year for us and we really need to get away but I sure am going to miss all you guys and hopefully will garner some super recipes to share when we get back at the end of August. Hope everyone has a terrific summer - stay cool and keep those recipes and tips coming! :cool::cool:

Yeah, I do seem to get the lion's share of it don't I? But perhaps my son, Ian, can keep my seat warm while I'm gone for the purpose of entertaining both Chilefarmer and the bloody spammers........so I pass the torch to him.
Look out, Spice Place - kid cook on the loose!! Excuse me, I'm just informed that that should be "well-trained-semi mature chef" on the loose :eek:
 
Bring a laptop Katie. They have Internet in England too. Either way have a great trip girl.
