Looking for a recipe for Mincemeat Tarts.. I bought a bottle of mincemeat.. Just wondering id there is anything else you can add.. Just curious..

If there is no brandy in your ingredient label then you can add 1/4 cup or so - or you can dress it up a bit -

Pastry for two-crust 9-inch pie
1 cup prepared mincemeat
2 teaspoons grated orange zest
1/4 cup sugar plus more for sprinkling
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
4 cups Gala or Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method:

1) Heat oven to 375° F. Line bottom of 9-inch pie pan with half the pastry. Combine mincemeat and orange zest; spread in bottom of pastry-lined pie pan.

2) In large bowl, combine 1/4 cup sugar, the walnuts, and flour; add apples and toss. Spread apple mixture over mincemeat layer. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cover filling with remaining pastry; seal and flute edges. Brush top crust lightly with water and sprinkle with sugar. Cut several vents in top crust to allow steam to escape.

3) Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until apples are tender. Cool at least 30 minutes before serving

You don't have to adde anything to it - you can fill your crust with just the mincemeat.

I love mincemeat pie at Holiday time- but haven't had one in years. One seldom sees it today ever- but my Grandma and Mom made delicious mincemeat pies. Maybe I'll have to whip-up one or two this year! Love me a big ole wedge with either whipped cream or vanila ice-cream... YUM!
