Really, this is a good forum, The new layout is different but can be mastered. Its not that hard.
If you find a better place let me know. I have looked and its not out there.
So all guest and old members alike, its your forum only you can make it work. I want new recipes, I want to improve my cooking, I would love to hear about what you are cooking and how you are doing it. Bought any new cooking stuff, found any new ingredients?
How about Bar-B-Que, or sausage making, yeah I am into that. I like "Q"ing and sausage making and like eating it to. I will be watching for you. CF:)

Dang, guess I am back to talking to myself. At least I get all the right answers, Well most of the time. I will be here waiting. CF

JP, happy to see ya. You know this used to be a very active forum. I really liked it. Haven't a clue as to what happen to it. Yeah, we had some member clashes, here and there but that happens. I have visited some other forums and they are bad. Lot of bickering going on.
Anyway I hope we can revive this one.
Hows the sausage making going on? CF

Hey, guys......I sure would like to see this forum revived with some good recipes and cooking talk. I've got some bread recipes and some for a couple of French pastries you gentlemen probably wouldn't care much for but I'd be happy to contribute. I'd really love to see J.P. step up to the plate with some gumbo recipes and possibly one for a low country boil. I've heard so much about those from people I work with and would love to see what all's involved in one.

Ian, good to see you post.
JP is your man on gumbo and crawfish boil. Living in Cajun country and all. My brother in law makes a mean gumbo, but I have never gotten the recipe. He lives down South in Franklin, Louisiana. That is deep Cajun country. OK JP, waiting on recipes. CF

I've been asking the same thing. We had more adtivity from our members before the change with all those nasty spammers that drove us crazy. We weathered that together. Now - we can post all we want and enjoy each other - but no one seems interested.

Face it - who has posted anything other than us? I don't know what happened - the layoot of this site is no worse than any one out there so it cannot be that.

It bothers me very much - but I've got my thinking cap on.

I have an idea that I am going to send to Matt - I hope he goes for it.

Wish me luck - and please don't abandon the site!

Thanks.

I'm still working on Gumbo recipes. You probably wouldn't like mine since it has to be low sodium for my heart though. CF get your Brother-in-law on this Gumbo thing.

JP, I will see if he will give up the recipe. He might for his sister but not me. You know how those Cajun's are about cooking. CF

Louisiana is not all Cajun you know. I'm from the pine hills of North Louisiana. Met some friends from south Louisiana in Hodges Gardens years ago amid the pine hills, overlooks and rock outcrops and they said; OMG when did we cross over into Arkansas?

JP, I know your right, two completely different people. I have been down south and have been in you area. Culture difference for sure. CF

I'm one of the ones that rarely stops by much anymore. Many reasons, I guess... occasionally I'd stop and see that it'd been weeks since there was any new activity... but it's nice to see you guys here! :)

Well hello Kevin. Good to hear from you again. I quess we need to get back to the main reason for this forum; COOKING!
