Canasta buds and I were munching pizza and cheating at cards last night and somehow the subject of maids, cooks and other household staff came up. We were tring to recollect as many as we possibly could from TV and movies. There was Florence from "The Jeffersons", Florida on "Maude", Jeffery from "Fresh Prince of Bel Aire", John Gielgud's 'Hobson' from "Arthur", Berta from "Two and a Half Men", Mammy from "Gone with the Wind", and others... We were trying to even remember if Barbara Eden's character actually started out officially as Major Nelson's maid on "I Dream of Jeannie"! One thing's for sure- all these folks were beloved, funny as heck and SASSY! Do you remember any others who cooked and/or cleaned on tv shows or movies?
