I just adopted a new pet ~ Snoopy

My wonderful cocker spaniel Emmitt passed away 10 months ago, and we now have adopted a new little boy named Snoopy ~ I have always wanted to name a dog Snoopy ~ he is a pointer terrier mix and he is so so goofy and silly ~ he is an extreme welcomed new family member and my other 2 dogs, girls, mother him like crazy and he is ONE SPOILED BRAT ~ His antics are so fun that there is no need to watch tv as much ~ he is a handful and always brings a smile to my face ~ ALWAYS :p

When I was little I had a cat named snoopy. It may seem strange but he had the same black and white markings.

Thank you Cathy

Chubbyalaskagriz, is awesome, he is the reason I'm here, and I know if he is here it has to be a great place to visit and get to know others.

I have 3 dogs, Snoopy my little weird puppy is new, We treat our dogs like our children, they have such unbelievable distinct personalities and we enjoy all 3

I do love to cook, breads especially then Italian, German, and appetizers. I love people's opinions and their great tips on their recipes ~ I make it a point to try a new recipe every other Sunday~ makes life interesting that way, I do have my DH try it first ~ the joke is: I'm looking to collect the insurance money and I refer to him as my guinea pig hahahaha

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and thank you for reaching out

jfain!!!!!!!!!! You're here too ~ well now this is going to be really great ~ how are you? So nice to see you ~ I always wanted to name a dog Snoopy even better you named your cat Snoopy. You need to get a hold of Mapiva and encourage her to come here, I miss her too and Sidedish101.

You are welcome Dianncy64

How very neat your story is!!! I am glad you already know Kevin (Chubbyalaskagriz) and it won't be long until ya' know all us'nz too.

I see you are a Social Worker, I studied Criminal Justice myself and was interested in becoming a social worker at one time ( many moons ago ) but in the by-and-by I did not continue on that path and am planted squarely in Insurance & Tax Prep. Amazingly my customers open up & tell me thier life's history as I prepare their taxes and so I listen...and listen... and l sympathize and empathize and we form a unique realtionship. It is always to be continued next year, when once again I hear the previous years joys & sorrows.... & so to make a long story short I am a temporary therapist of sorts only on a totally non-professional level (like a bartender!!!):D The lucky part is I get to make my clients happy for a while when I see their faces light up and their wide toothed grins when I tell them how rich this years tax refund will be making them!

I know you'll like this forum, and I see you already are familiar w/ some of us, and well all I can say is THE MORE THE MERRIER!!!

What a beautiful doggy!
I love the name.

I saw some cute doggies out last night trick or treating. They had costumes on.

Me too and a few dogs that didn't have costumes on I asked if it was a cat in a dog's costume ~ the owners laughed and stayed to talk ~ nice getting to know some of the neighbors from several blocks over ~ Actually I seen more dogs out tonight and it got me thinking, I don't remember many if any dogs in previous years ~ but they were cute and all the dogs loved the fact that I had a small bowl of milk bones to pass out (with the owners permission) Have to say we enjoyed ourselves this year with the kids, neighbors, and of course the cute dogs

Awww, shucks, Dianne! Thanks! How sweet! I've had fun and met MANY wonderful folks a long the way. There are more fine and sweet friends here at this forum than I've found at any other! Those seeking genuine warmness and kindness should come here- they'll surely find it!
