(janie- perhaps I shoulda sent this to you in a PM, but I'll create a new chatter thread and make it public just in case anyone else wants to chime-in...)

I just watched "Twilight" tonight. And damn! I'm HOOKED! What a fantastic story! I can hardly wait for the next movies... But, just one question... in all your handsome avatars- why oh WHY were you never compelled to have one of the lovely long-haired Indian boy, Jacob? OOOO-la-la! Hee-Hee! :D

I just gave my younger sister her dvd of that I got her yesterday. She is so crazy about that movie and the books. If you read the books the movies make a lot more sense. I read all of the books but them and the movie are a bit young for me. But, I am a sucker for vampire stories. You will probably love the second movie in that series called New Moon based on the second book. They are filming it right now in Canada. New Moon has tons of the Indian kid in it Jacob. The kid who plays Jacob has flat out been hitting the gym since the last movie and is built in this one. He turns into a wolf in New Moon. It is all about Edward getting the idea if he leaves Bella she will be better off so he does. Bella starts spending tons of time with Jacob to cope and develops feelings for him. But, Edward is back in the last part of the movie. New Moon has more Bella, Jacob and Alice in it that any of the others.
I downloaded the books in .pdf and read them on my computer. My sis has them all in paperback.

Like you janie, I find them a bit young- but that doesn't stop me from enjoying Harry Potter, either! I'm always leary of "teen" stories, but I found this one believable (well- it's vampires- so "believable" might not be the correct term!) and easy to follow, enjoy and appreciate! So looking forward to New Moon! Thanks for ear-marking this for us, janie!

They did pick some georgeous guys for that movie. Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett has a beautiful smile and what dimples lol. Jackson Rathbone plays Jasper..once again beautiful smile. Guys with great smiles are my weak spot.

Oh Kev...
