Last year I submitted a post - a recipe that was for a Dutch dessert speciality. When a recipe has been on the forum for some time but gradually works its way down the list of relevant things, where does it go? Where could I look for this recipe. It weems that I've lost my original copy and hope that I can re-acquaint myself with it here. I sure hope that someone has the answer to "where does it go - where do I look" as I am so uninitiated when it comes to all things computer that I haven't a clue how to call up a particular recipe I'm looking for! Help, anyone? Thanks -:o:o Katie

It just gotta be in Desserts or Share Recipe Forum. Just try going to the beginning on each one. I even tried dessert breads but didn't see anything with your name on it that wasn't recent.

Janie, thank you so much for your efforts. The recipe is for a fruit tart called Vlaai and at the time I posted it, I only posted into "Share Recipes" because I simply didn't have the computer knowledge at that time to catagorize things properly. I'll try the "Share Recipes" thread and go back as far as I can and see if I can find that recipe because my in-laws are coming to visit from Holland soon and I'd love to make one for them while they're here. Why do you suppose that when people come to visit from foreign countries, one always feels compelled to cook something that's indigenous to their country - something they probably get all the time at home? If I can't find Vlaai, I should most likely make something that's strictly vintage American, shouldn't I? Or maybe a lovely steak and kidney pie from my neck of the woods?
