I saw the "Fake mashed potato" thread and a question popped in my mind.
If you need to mash some *real* Assume I DO NOT want any skin in my casserole dish ultimately. |

I read in a book by Dr Miriam Stoppard that potatoes lose much of their protein, vitamins and minerals if you boil them with the skins off.
Anyways, I saw a Youtube video of how to peel a potato after boiling it with the skin on. I found it quite interesting and thought I'll share here. |
