I was trying a recipe tonight that called for white balsamic vinegar. I've never heard of it or seen it, and there was no such thing at my store. I had to go with regular balsamic vinegar and, while I liked the outcome of the recipe, I can't help but wonder...what's up with white balsamic vinegar? Does it have that much of a different taste from regular balsamic vinegar?
The recipe was in Southern Living, which usually doesn't call for ingredients that are difficult to find. Just curious if y'all had ever tried white balsamic vinegar. |
