Chilled Fruit in a Jar
Anybody ever try substituting fruit from a jar for fresh produce? Was thinking about using the Chilled Fruit from Del Monte in some recipes I have. Heard it works good and still tastes fine. I want to avoid the prep: cutting & peeling and save time. So busy lately!!! It's sold in the referigerated area of the produce section so it looks pretty good. Sure I do it all the time when fresh fruit is out of season or not available.
