Dear MsMai,
I am truly heart felt in my sympathy towards your daughter MsMai.
I too had lymphatic cancer when I was 20yrs old ~ Hodgkins Lymphoma, I was in stage 3-b when diagnosed and as terminal as it was at the time (1984), I just passed my 23 year remission on Oct. 18. It is hard to deal with such heavy news. I feel so much for you.
They did remove a lymph node on me too, I still have a faded scar on the left side of my neck, funny: people think it's a hickey and I even lost a job over it, I just assume they thought it was a hickey too~ to me, that scar is a badge of honor because I am a survivor and I survived.
I would highly suggest your daughter eat lots and lots and mega lots of protein~ cancer does not like protein, (it's something to help) but junk food or sugary snacks will help it, so please have her eat lots of protein.
I am available to talk if you want, or give more support being a survivor it may help. Everyone here is available to you, from what I have read they really really care for you.
I am DEFINITELY GOING TO PRAY FOR YOUR DAUGHTER.
