I have no idea what to name this new invention of mine!!
But, yummmmyyyyyy!!!!! Okay. I had left over sourdough bread, small, the size you use for the tray around the spinach dip. But I had no spinach dip, just the cocktail size sourdough bread. So, I toasted one side of 9 slices or bread under the broiler until golden brown. Took the baking sheet out, turned the oven down to 350 degrees. Flipped each piece of bread over and squirted a blob of taco sauce on each of the slices of bread. Then sprinkled chopped green onion over the bread. Then put a slice of Velvetta cheese on each piece of bread and put the baking sheet back in the oven. Came out to the computer did some stuff. Almost forgot about the oven, but my nose is good and I followed it into the kitchen when it told me to take the baking sheet out. Then, I topped each piece with a spoon full of heated leftover taco meat. Put one or two sliced olives on each one and put it back in the oven for the cheese to finish melting. I am glad that I have some more slices of sourdough bread and left over taco meat!! I wanna have some of that again!!! But, what do I call it???? |
