Guest
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 tbsp lowered sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp prepared mustard
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

  1. Shape the ground beef into 1 inch balls.
  2. Place in a non-stick frying pan and cook until browned, turning to cook evenly.
  3. Mix the catsup, soy sauce, vinegar, mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire Sauce together in a Pyrex measuring cup. Pour over top of the meat balls, and stir to coat the meat balls.
  4. Cook at a simmer in a covered pan for about 30 minutes. Stir every 5 minutes or so, and add water if the sauce starts getting to thick.

There is no need to add salt to this Barbecued Meat Balls recipe, as there is plenty in the catsup, soy sauce, and Worcestershire Sauce.
