- 1 pound lean beef cut into 3/4" cubes
- 1 cup finely diced celery
- 5 carrots, chopped
- 5 green onions, chopped
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 3 tbsp tapioca
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 large can of whole tomatoes, undrained
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Mix everything together in a large cassarole dish, cover and bake for 5 hours at 275 degrees.
- Serve with freshly cooked rice, pasta, or yeast bread.
