Hello ....
Thank you, it's a good the all kinds of pastries so pizza
I'm from Lebanon
And I live in Saudi Arabia because of my father he working in the oil firm Saudi Aramco
and you ......
Where are you from?

I am so excited and pleased to read that you are from Lebanon!!!:) I love Lebanese food, my sister-in-law's mother is Lebanese and she has taught me how to make some wonderful dishes from your country!!!! I look so forward to learning more from you, thank you so much for sharing, Your new forum friend, Cathy

P.S. I live in the United States in a state named Georgia, we live in the Northern part of our state where there are mountains and streams, it is beautiful here! Our winters are mild, our summers are long & hot so we swim and camp out alot during the summer. How is Saudi Arabia this time of the year? I only imagine Saudi as hot & dry! I am afraid I need lots of green grass and trees to keep my spirits high! I would be sad if no green scenery to look at!

Mream, those pastries look great. I have never had Lebanese food. It looks like I will be soon, with your recipe. I bake breads where I work so this should be easy for me to try. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Kathy W.

Dear Mream,

I am a painter too, I paint in watercolor and love my hobby! I will try and show you one of my works of art sometime soon, I am working on a painting for one of our forum friends here at SpicePlace right now, when I am done I will try to scan it in and show you in a Private Message! What are your favorite subjects to paint?

The thing I most love about Middle Eastern Cusine is it is so refreshing and feels light and oh so healthy when eating it! It is on the top of my list of favorite foods!!!::)

Have you been cooking long? I have been cooking about 33 years and love it! If I had a dream to come true it would be to travel the world and attend different cooking schools in every country, and have a picnic in the country-side at each location where I'd be visiting and attending cooking school:) Now that would be an "Over-The-Top" holiday for me:D

I'll bet you liked working in the make-up salon? I bet it goes along well with your artistic nature?

Write more and please see if the Lebanese Stuffed Grape Leaf recipe I posted here is like the one you make!

Cheers, Cathy

Hi Mream I am making these Yami-Yami today, I will be stuffing mine with some shredded spicy chicken meat! I will let you know how they turn out!
I hope you are having a good weekend!
Cathy

Hi Mream!

I actually made the dough with intentions of making the Yami-Yami and then used the dough instead to make pita bread:rolleyes: I changed my mind after the dough had risen and decided I wanted some Hummus & Baba-Ganough and I needed pita bread for them. Maybe next time I will actually make the Yami-Yami!

Your Friend, Cathy

Cathy, Too much bread will make you fat! Do you still bike or along is not fun?

Hey FoodLoverCA - you sound like a stalker to me. We don't take to your kind around here.

and for your information - bread - or any food at all - DOES NOT MAKE A PERSON FAT.

A PERSON MAKES A PERSON FAT BY EATING TOO MUCH AND NOT EXERCISING.

got it? good.............
