Sour Cream Pound Cake
This is Paula Deen's recipe that was her grandmother's

1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter, softened
3 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
6 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a 10" tube pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar and cream together. Add sour cream and mix together until incorporated. Sift the baking soda and flour together. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture, alternating with eggs - beating in each egg in one at a time. Add vanilla and mix in well.

Pour mixture into a greased and floured 10" tube pan and bake at 325 for 1 hour and 20 minutes
