Baked fish low sodium low fat

BAKED FISH LOW SODIUM LOW FAT

2 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. canola oil
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 lb. fish fillets, cod, halibut, or any white fish
1 tsp. parsley flakes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine minced onion and water, let stand for 10 minutes to soften. Stir in basil, paprika, garlic powder, oil and lemon juice. Place fish fillets in oiled 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour herb mixture over top. Bake until fish flakes easily, about 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve. Serves 4 - 83 mg. sodium per portion.
 
I will probably try this one very soon but with Salmon which is not a white fish but still should work alright. We have salmon locally listed as 55 mg of sodium per serving (4 oz).

I have found flounder at 30 mg per serving (4 oz) and have grilled (not too good) and fried (good but healthy?) it. I think it will be a candidate for your baked fish recipe. This is a white fish.
 
Did the flounder yesterday for lunch. It turned out very good but it just about fell apart but that is just the way flounder does. It is not a very firm fish. About the only thing I have done with flounder and kept it in one piece was deep frying it but then I have a bigger mess to clean up and have to make some more of my ketsup to go with it. Both ketsup and tarter sauce are super high in sodium.
