Smothered Chicken

This is one of my husband's favorite dishes and it's so simple!

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts
1 (10.75 oz) can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/4 cup water
1 cup flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 onion sliced
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Salt
Pepper


Directions

1. Stir the soup and water together and set aside.
2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
3. Dredge the seasoned chicken breasts in the flour.
4. Heat the oil in the pan then fry the chicken breasts on each side until browned (about 5 minutes per side).
5. Add the sliced onion and Cream of Mushroom soup.
6. Cook on medium heat until chicken is cooked through (about 15 minutes).

Serve with rice spooning the chicken and sauce over the rice.

Time: 40 minutes
