Pound Cake Question

Hello to all....Hope you're having a cookin' good time here during the Fattening-Up Season. I'm going to make a pound cake which is usually recommended to be made in a tube pan but I want to make it in loaf pans (8" or 9"). How should I adjust my cooking time and temp to do this? Help will be appreciated.

toothpick test! it's that simple - watch you timing and when it looks like it is done - give it the toothpick test - you don't have to make any cakes in the pans they call for in the recipe

Alright, then. Thank you so much. I had thought of that but wasn't sure whether to change the temp.

no - don't change the temp - change the cook time - never the temp - I hope it turns out well for you -
BTW - you can make cupcakes and even madelenes using a poundcake recipe -

happy baking!!
