Cornish hens

Hi! I just purchased a really small cornish hen. I know they are smaller than chickens but I decided to make one. Can anyone give me just a basic method of preparing it. As i said--never made it before so the simpler the better.

Fran, we cook the Cornish hen just like you would chicken. I bake them most of the time. With dressing, I cheat and use the cornbread stove top kind. Wife and I one bird is enough. Sometime I will serve a whole bird to each person. They are so good and easy to make. CF

I do mine in the oven - just like roasting a chicken.
