Ingredients:

10 to 12 small new red potatoes or fingerlings
water for boiling potatoes
1 small clove garlic, minced
3 tbls. butter
1 tbls. all-purpose flour
2 C half and half
salt and pepper to taste
1 C new peas, shelled and cooked

Directions:

Wash potatoes and boil in salted water until tender. Drain and set aside. In another pan, saute garlic in butter. Add flour, stirring until well mixed. Slowly add half and half, cooking until slightly thickened. Add additional salt, if desired, and pepper. Stir in peas and pour sauce over potatoes. Serve immediately. Enjoy!! :D

Had new potatoes yesterday. Not creamed but Oh so good. Just butter, salt and some fresh parsley. I will be digging the rest of the potatoes today. Peas don't do well here, just to hot 103° yesterday. I could do the frozen pea thing. OK that will work. CF:)

Ooh! Ouch!! That's just a tad too hot for me!! You could cook on your driveway if you have asphalt!! And yes, the frozen peas would do just dandy.
The little petit peas would be great.:)
