HOT-MILD BARBECUED BEEF

Ingredients:

3 to 4 pound round bottom roast
water
1 C chopped onion
2 tbls. oil
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbls. vinegar
3 tbls. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
red pepper to taste
3 tbls. brown sugar, packed
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 16 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. molasses
1/4 C ketchup

Directions:

Bake roast, covered, in pan filled 1/4 full of water, for approximately 4 hours or until fork tender. In a large pot, saute onion in oil. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove meat from pan and shred into small pieces. Add the meat to the sauce and mix well. Cook, covered, over low heat for about 30 minutes. Add more water if necessary. Serve on onion rolls with a side of sweet potato fries and some homemade slaw for a wonderfully tasty, kid-friendly meal. :D

Good morning, Mama - I wonder if you might, please, remove this particular recipe - it's a double because when I discovered that I had accidently misspelled the word "mild" in the title and I went in to try and edit and correct it, the entire thing disappered and, thinking it was completely gone, I typed it over again. Hence the repeat. Thanks, Katie:eek:

Had to edit this, also, because I misspelled the exact same word yet again!! Back to the drawing board!!
