2 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium onion, diced 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger (w/spices) 2 pounds fresh jumbo shrimp, peeled and cleaned Combine all ingredients (except shrimp) in a shallow dish. Stir well, gently toss in shrimp to coat. Cover and chill at least 2 to 5 hours. Remove shrimp and skewer, saving marinade. Grill over medium high coals for 3 to 5 min. Baste w/ marinade constantly. Serves 6 |
