Default Went to my first barbeque

I'd never gone to a barbeque before, as none of my friends have barbeques and I don't own a barbeque griller. My dad does, but he doesn't use it. However, I did go to one recently, and I found out that when things are barbequed, they taste a whole lot better! Too bad it will be awhile until my next barbeque venture

Just about anything tastes better on the grill, no doubt about it.

I agree. I don't understand why, but it's true. I love to grill. I'm getting ready to grill some catfish fillets right now on a new fish grill thingy I got at Lowes yesterday.

I've been wanting to grill catfish all summer but couldn't find the thing I wanted to cook them on. It's a nice sized stainless steel tray with lots of 3/8" holes that you set on the grill and keeps the fish off the grill itself, and stops the catfish from falling apart and onto the coals. Will update whether it really works after dinner.

Yeah, keep grilling. When I was a kid we made our own grills with a couple wire grates and some bricks. You'd be amazed at how well it cooked foods.

oh yeah, remember hibachis? For when you have very little space for a grill but still want to grill?

And there's indoor grills, too. More than just George Foreman grills, too.

OldBay - we did the very same thing! The food was great - we didn't need all that fancy-smancy stuff - heck - it wasn't even thought of then! LOL

Make your own grill, I'd like to try that. Definately would be cheaper than buying one, at today's prices.

Wow, I can't go long without BBQ in the summer! My husband loves to BBQ.

That special they have on Food Network about different BBQ restaurants and competitions... make my mouth WATER.
