2 T olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped 1 T crushed garlic 1 kg beef sirloin, cut in thin strips salt and pepper 1/2 T curry powder 1/2 t. saffron 1 1/4 c all-purpose cream 1/2 c pure coconut milk 1/4 c white wine In a pan, heat olive oil and saute onion and garlic. Add beef and cook until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with curry powder and saffron. Blend in cream, coconut milk and wine. Stir until sauce boils and thickens. Remove from heat and serve. Serves 6 |
