• 1 large egg, beaten
• 1 pound ground beef • 1 cup finely chopped onion • 1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce • 1/4 cup red wine (not cooking wine; a good sweet wine works better) • 1 tbsp. minced garlic • 1 cup soft bread crumbs • 1/2 pound Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes) • Hot cooked rice or noodles • Beef Gravy (as desired) Combine the first 6 ingrediences together in a large bowl. Use a ice cream scoop and scoop out a ball of the mixture. Put a hole in the center. Place a cube of cheese in the middle. Seal together around the cheese cube and place on a nonstick baking sheet. Repeat till all mixture is used. Bake in oven at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes, or till meatballs are brown. Serve with rice or noodles and a sauce or beef |
