  • 1 pound lean beef cut into 3/4" cubes
  • 1 cup finely diced celery
  • 5 carrots, chopped
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 3 tbsp tapioca
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large can of whole tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  1. Mix everything together in a large cassarole dish, cover and bake for 5 hours at 275 degrees.
  2. Serve with freshly cooked rice, pasta, or yeast bread.
