I know y'all are tired of hearing about our weather. But this is serious stuff. We have 100 year old trees dieing from lack of rain. Our annual rain fall average is 48", this year so far 3.5". So I am praying this storm will bring some rain. You will see higher meat prices because cattle are being sold off at an alarming rate. There is no hay. CF

Wow 3.5" so far this year. I think 3.5" is comparible to the Kalahari Desert.

We had 12" here last Saturday night as a result of Irene. Prior to that it was very dry from May until middle of August. Some of the storm models of the gulf storm show rain heading toward Texas. Let's hope you share with Louisana fairly on the rain as they don't need 15".

I know we could use more rain - it's been a horrible summer and of course, typical here, unbearable heat and humidity yesterday, today, tomorrow and then the usual 20 degree or more drop in temps.
I look forward to that for sure!
