    Default Creole Bread

I made this yesterday for Super Bowl Party. Made rolls instead of loaves. Very tasty, great color and texture.
I found recipe while doing a search when some requested it on another forum, good find--

Rice and Beans: A Belizean in DC: Belizean Creole Bread

    enjoy,

you are so welcome. I forgot to add, my little kitchen was very busy, so didn't have room to clear to knead on the counter, so did all the mixing and kneading in my KitchenAid stand mixer.
also, I used regular olive oil, not extra virgin for the oil.

    enjoy,
    Nan

actually, you would never think coconut, it is a secret ingredient.
but your reply made me curious, a few years back I had a client on a ship that had an amazing sense of smell, he could walk into the galley and name most of the spices and herbs involved in the next meal, he also was a heavy smoker??? wonder if he would pick this up?
I am planning on making it into loaves next time and thinking toast will be great.
