    Default Quick Cheese Biscuits

I found this recipe a few years ago. Very easy. Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 2 tblsp. butter or margarine, 2/3 cup milk.
Preheat oven to 450 degree's. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Stir in the cheddar cheese. Cut in butter using 2 knives until course crumbs form. Using a fork, stir milk into flour mixture until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix or overwork dough. Drop dough in heaping tablsps. 1 inch apart, onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake until biscuits are firm to the touch, appox. 15 min.
