8 eggs
1 1/2 cup half and half 3/4 cup brown sugar + 1 TBSP 2 TBSP vanilla 8 slices french bread 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup maple syrup 3/4 cup pecans Beat eggs, 1/2 and 1/2/ 1 TBSP brown sugar and vanilla. Put 1/2 of mixture in 13X9 baking pan. Add bread, pour remaining mixture over bread. Refrigerate overnight. (very important as it does not taste as good if you do not make it the night before) Melt butter, sugar, syrup and nuts together. Pour over bread. Bake 350 degrees 30~35 minutes. |
