    Default A Great Muffin For Fall! :)

    Pumpkin Apple Muffins

    2½ c. flour
    1½ c. sugar
    1 T. pumpkin pie spice
    1 t. baking soda
    ¼ t. salt
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 c.canned pumpkin
    ½ c. milk
    ½ c. vegetable oil
    2 c. peeled, finely chopped raw apple
    ¾ c.chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

    Streusel Topping:
    In a small bowl combine

    2 T. flour,
    ¼ c. sugar
    ½ t. cinnamon.
    Cut in 1½ tablespoons butter until mixture is crumbly.


    In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a medium bowl combine eggs, pumpkin, milk and oil. Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until moistened. Stir in chopped apples. Spoon into muffin cups. Sprinkle streusel topping on top of each. Bake at 350° F., 20-25 minutes, or until done.

    oh my gosh this looks delicious! Pumkin and apple cinnamon muffins separately are my favorite so they must be amazing combined!

    The recipe looks good and I love apple muffin but haven't tried a pumpkin muffin before. This is really interesting. I will try and make this one of these days. Thanks for the recipe!

    That sounds like it's right up my alley. Pumpkin is one of mine and my son's favorite fall flavors. I may have to try these on his first day of school as an extra special treat!

    If you use the paper liners they do not need to be greased but if you do not use liners you will need to grease the pan. This rule goes for all muffins, cupcakes, anything that you bake in cupcake tins. The liners also make for easier cleanup!
