Orange and Cinnamon Cake
Orange and Cinnamon Cake
6 eggs 2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups self raising flour 1 orange 3 tablespoons cinnamon 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 cup icing sugar for dusting (optional) Directions: set the oven to gas mark 4 approx 350degrees, put the flour into a big bowl, add the sugar and the eggs, beat for 2 minuites, then add the baking powder, grate the peel of the orange and slice into circles, add 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, beat with a hand wisk for a further 3minuites, grease the cake tin and add the mixture, bake in the oven for 40minuites until golden brown and peirce a knife through the middle to see if its fully cooked, when cooled spinkle with icing sugar and rest of the cinnamon.
