Default What Do You Collect?

Other than recipes, what do you collect?

I collect books, cobalt glass, and unique candle holders.

I've always been interested in what people collect because it seems to give more insight as to what they're all about. I don't personally know of anyone who collects really strange items (a la Stephen King!). Do you?

I collect elephants with raised trunks as they are a sign of good luck----so far i've got elephants in glass, leather, lapis lazul, onyx, marble, plastic, several different kinds of wood, some green semi-precious stone that I can't thing the name of---it doesn' t matter I've got them all--- only NOT ivory----goodness, I could have gotten some beautiful pieces in ivory having lived overseas-----just couldn't do that-----not only does the US prohibit the importation of ivory objects of any kind, I morally couldn't sanction it. Anyway, I think that they have brought me good luck, overall.

I don't really collect much, i'm a major declutterer. But if I had to pick something I'd say baby slings/carriers. I have a half dozen different kinds b/c each one is used for a different purpose.

Well if that counts -- we collect cats. LOL I believe we're up to like 10 now with all the kittens that were just born. I live out in the middle of no where and people love to drop their cats off here.
