"You know it will be deleted.
So why would you take the time to make a post to "bury" a post? It makes no sense. Post a recipe instead - it takes just as much time." Well, Mama, now you have me really confused. Last time this came up, you and I exchanged a number of emails, the crux of which was that you could not delete those posts, nor could you ban any posters, not deny anybody membership. This is different from every other forum and message board on the net. But, what the heck. You're the moderator. Now, in contradistinction to that you say you can delete them. And you slap my wrist for doing what I can to get rid of them. If anything doesn't make sense it's that. You know I've spent a lot of time trying to help make this group what it is. I've brought in lots of new blood, all of whom are good contributors. I've started numerous threads, so the group would remain active. And I've worked with you and Matt behind the scenes. And this is what it comes to? I'm at fault for trying to keep the list clean? Well I'm no longer going to try and keep up with your contradictory messages. It's your group. Enjoy it. But don't look for any more posts from me. |

I for one love Brook and do not in any way shape or form want to see him leave our forum. Mama I kind of thought it was a neat idea Brook had to just start new threads and out post the stupid spammer

Brook - you got it wrong - I said that there are certain threads in which I cannot delete spam. that is the way it is set up. Now - please read the email I am going to send you in a bit - Thank you. |

Brook misunderstood me in a PM when I said that there are certain threads in which I cannot delete spam. No drama, no hard feelings - families don't do that - they understand. You are being polite by saying the spammers are stupid - I have much better language to use on them - but they wouldn't understand Italian. We all agree on our feelings about spammers - and as long as the internet is around - spammers will be too. Now you know why I do not welcome very many people when they join - I may have to hit the button on them. So don't even worry about it - if one hits a thread I cannot delete - then we can give them the business! Italian style! LOL |

Well - for the record - yes - most of my recipes are in my computer or on disks (yep still got them too) and CD's. Throughout the years and the changes in operating systems and various recipe programs - I've typed each of these recipes a heluva lot more than just once. So I can now copy'/paste - I put my time in - many, many hours - for many, many years - so I sure don't feel guilty being able to! |

No - as I said to Brook in an earlier reply - there are a few threads in which I cannot delete. |
