I love all the old B & W classics and those hysterical 50's/60's movies - The Blob, It Came from outer Space, etc.
I loved Bettlejuice, The Addams Family, and all Disney! BUT the one that scared the crap out of me - HALLOWEEN - the original and of course - Psycho. |

I'm really not into gory movies. my favorite Halloween movies are things like Corpse Bride, The Nightmare before Christmas, Bram's Stoker's Dracula and of course Beetlejuice and the Adams family. Personally I don't understand how a movie like Saw is entertainment but I know some people like it. To me it's a bit like the Roman's watching the lions devour people. Kind of sick to think of as fun.

I have friends who watch those creepy/gory movies. If absolutely forced- I can join them, but they really whack me out! Especially 'Saw' and it's sequels. Those movies- along with "Hostel" and it's sequel are by far the worst I've seen! UGH!

I won't be forced. I saw that Japanese version of Dark Water on Halloween four years ago and it was so disturbing it bothered me for 6 months. No one can force me to go through that again. I don't want to be desensitized to torture and pain.
