I was really shocked when I started looking at costumes for a five year old and they were cut to look sexy. We got the oldest a long sleeve shirt to wear under the cheerleader top and tights to go under the skirt. Evidently they think children want to dress like Britney Spears

For weeks after trick or treat their Mama has to fight with them over their candy buckets. They want to have them for breakfast lol.

Nope those are for my girls. I have a silver bowl over on the bookshelf with candy in it to pass out. We only get 3-4 trick or treaters here cause the building only has 6 apartments and its kinda off at the end of town. The purple one is for Evelyn the oldest and the orange is for the baby. They call her Cat and that one had black cats on it.
I get a chuckle out of them arguing with their Mommy for the candy for three months after Halloween lol. She usually ends up putting their candy in the pantry with a hook on the door they cannot reach lol. Last year the oldest got a chair and unhooked it while they were still sleeping and was having her candy for breakfast one morning.

I am from the old school, a bit old fashioned, and it seems as though mostly all clothes that are designed for our chidren shows a bit of skin, all we can do is supervise their choices and hope they go along with it. On another note my adorable son insisted that I wear a Halloween outfit on Halloween day with him, I tried it on and he just laughed at me . I love him it is worth it! of course he picked it out a witch with a scary face cape and hat to match.. oh well!

One of my husbands friends showed up at the door last Halloween. He and his wife brought her two kids to trick or treat. He was dressed as a very ugly woman lol. Jon was at my FIL's so that was where they were going next. my FIL is kinda uptight so I called and warned him they were on the way. He met Jons friend at the door and told him he wasnt getting any candy cause he didnt dress up lol.

    Thanks Cookie.

I talked to my five year old niece on the phone today and she was telling me that even though she would prefer to come get her candy bucket and stay here at the apartment playing on my computer til time to go to Papa Frank's to eat she would go trick or treat because she knows I like to take them. I am being humored by the five year old! lol. I messed up sending her pics of her bucket of candy ...now she figures just stay in where its warm. She tells me in her squeaky Mini Mouse voice that they never get much candy when they go trick or treating anyway but she knows Aunt Naney likes to take pictures of them trick or treating I told her Mama what she said and she reminded me of year before last when I gave them their buckets before they went trick or treating and she wanted to stay here instead since she already had candy. The pictures of the buckets were meant to entice them to look forward to Halloween. KIDS!
