jglass I am confused isn't Halloween celebrated on Saturday?
Yes Halloween is Saturday but they always set trick or treat for a day or two before here. I think they want to avoid conflicting with Friday night Football of all things.
I saw some cute costumes. My favorite was Cindy Lou and the Grinch. I saw an adorable little three year old Geisha girl and one of the cutest little toddler bumble bees ever.
Me too I just visited Party City and the line was from the front of the building to the back, the costumes were outrageous with some outrageous prices too! Thanks for explaining this to me, I hope you did not mind jglass I was really interested. At first I thought probably they were attending a Halloween party, then I decided just pop the question. In NY you can only trick or treat on the said day, I wish we had your luxury, because I am ready and excited. I like looking at how everyone decorated their lawns, and the kids happy faces, and their selected costumes, especially the babies, they are so cute! I love it! I forgot to mention those pictures are astonishing and absolutely adorable, thanks for sharing.
One of the cutest-ever homemade Halloween costumes I ever saw was a cow costume made from a black & white pair of sweats, in the splotchy-spotted pattern of a black & white cow- with rubber nipples from baby bottles sewed up and down and around the belly to look like a cow's udders!
A ton of people were out dressed as Michael Jackson.
I have not seen anyone yet in LI NY. People are probably working or still asleep, that's because we usually trick or treat late in the evening, but this year I wanted to start early and finish early not in the dark. I guess there is no fun trick or treating in daylight!
Well it's half an hour to go to the witching hour and it has been a smashing Halloween.
Kids dressed up as all sorts. One little boy had a lit up head/mask, I think it must have been made by a clever older brother or sister. I was pleased to see quite a few Mums and Dads and even Grans are joining in with the spirit of things.
What a load of rubbish on the box... you'd think that one of the channels would put Hocus Pocus or Bewitched or something of that ilk on.
The girls look as if they have really enjoyed themselves, I love the ring, striped tights, magic.
After all in is Halloweeeen.![]()
