    Default Totally off Topic ...Halloween

I am really looking forward to taking my nieces trick or treating this year.
Evelyn is five and she now wants to be the scary cheerleader.

    She picked this costume.

I was really shocked when I started looking at costumes how they try and design childrens costumes to be a bit sexy. With this costume we will be putting a long sleeve shirt on underneath the top. Im not crazy about the belly showing part. She will be wearing some tights underneath that skirt to.

This is the costume my younger niece will be wearing. She is two years old.

    These are my girls.

I couldn't agree more! Too many of these little girls being taught that sexy is in! I refuse to agree with these designers. They should all be shot. Today's kids are growing up way too fast. Cripe - little girls are outgrowing Barbie by the time they are 3!

I can't agree with you more.

Tesco, one of our local supermarkets was selling pole dancing kits for eight year olds. They received many complaints and I believe the item was with drawn. Also unsuitable and inappropirate underwear for little girls were on the shelves in this super market (or so I was told).

What is the matter with people wanting to manufacture totally inappropirate things for children to wear. They grow up fast enough as it is. Why try and ruin the innocence with corruption.

Apart from that the paedos are probably having a sickening feild day looking at them. It doesn't bear thinking about. Stinking pervs. YUK.

I live across the road from a grassy playing area and we have had problems with people who have been flashing at young girls. We have given loads of security discs to the police to see if they can identify them.

By the way children are delightful You must be very proud.

I was so shocked when I started checking out sites for costumes for 2-5 year olds. Belly baring tops and short skirts for five year olds! Some of the costumes looked like something Britney Spears would wear on stage.

I am proud of my nieces. I get all the fun and their poor Mom gets all the work lol. They come here and I spoil them rotten and she gets to take them home sugar high and all. They live about 45 miles or so from me way out in the middle of no where in a very rural area. My sis and her hubby bring them here on Halloween and we take them out to trick or treat. I take a thermos full of hot chocolate and some cookies and fruit it a tote bag with me to warm them up and give them a sugar boost while we are out. Then afterwards we go to my father in laws to trick or treat him and have our indoor picnic in his dining room. I make their favorite sandwiches and take, chips, cupcakes, pasta salad, fruit and fruit dip. My father in law always bakes them chocolate chip cookies. Before they go home I give them two plastic pumpkins full of their favorite candy. When we were kids people used to give out tons of good candy but these days the kids don't get much candy. Last year I weighed the candy filled pumpkins I made them and they were about 7 pounds each lol.
I love to make good memories for them.

Very cute girls. I have 2 daughters and taking them clothes shopping is a nightmare. It's so hard to dress kids without making them look like trash.
