Yes it is, but here's a wish that you'll have a very warm, cozy Columbus Day despite the rain! A great day to turn on the oven and do some baking!


Yesterday was so pretty though!
We had a blast yesterday in Ellijay, it was hysterical! What a trip It was such a Hill-Billy type place and I just laughed until my sides ached and my eyes were pouring tears as my Step-daughter and I talked about everything on the drive home. I had never in my life seen a Pig-Race, that was the high-light of my day...and of-course apple picking! The kids had a blast!

It is cold and cloudy today with rain here also. I am making french bread and helping Jon fix a couple of computers for some friends.

Glad you had a ggod time Cathy, and even more glad you didn't see the real hillbilly stuff LOL. I've seen things here I would have never believed if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. But this place has some of the nicest people I ever met. It's like stepping back in time about 30 yrs.

To think that it was 517 years today that the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria landed here!

I wonder what Columbus would think if he landed there today? He'd probably turn around and go back home!
