The author is also a baker and with titles like "The Carrot Cake Murders", "The Cream Puff Murders" and "The Peach Cobbler Murders" it appears these books might be right up our alley!

I have two friends who are romance writers... well- one just passed away- E. Lynn Harris. The other is Brenda Jackson. Both are well known writers who've published lots!

    Smile Joanne Fluke books

Yes, I've read almost all the crime fiction paperback books in her cookie bakery/coffee shop series. She includes lots of mostly cookie recipes in her books. I tried one of her cookie recipes and the cookies were great-tasting. I'd try more of her recipes but I'm watching my weight.

The protagonist keeps discovering dead bodies in her small town. She then investigates the crime and also manages to come up with different kinds of cookies. Everyone in her town loves her cookies.

I believe that there are too many bad things happenning around us together with inflation so I try to avoid anything to add to this I am basically a romantic at heart
