I had Jon at the petstore once and a cockatiel screamed and flew right for his head lol. That birdie didnt like something about my hubby. I told him it may have even been the cologne he was wearing. We were petting the rabbits and hear this scream getting close and I look up seeing the bird flying right for his head. I put my hand on top of Jon's head and told him to duck lol. A friend tried to give me two cockatiels a few months ago. She wanted to give me their cage and all but I was pretty sure my landlord wouldnt believe those noises were coming from the dog lol.

Janie, That poor old Tom Turkey your FIL had I figure he was a dyed in the wool bachelor, just look what bringing that hen into his domain went and done for 'im! He jest up-n-croaked, couldn't handle that woman 2 weeks even
P.S. I loved the jokes and stories, some roosters can be meaner than a snake! When we had ours we killed all the mean ones until we had the gentlest Rooster left, he blossomed real quick like after all the mean ones were gone, then in time he himself became a mean old codger! When we gave them away the man that came to get them said roosters are just misunderstood! Last edited by Cook Chatty Cathy; 10-25-2009 at 11:33 PM. |
