Default mama, I loved your newest...

entries at 'TheFamiliaKitchen' on the meatball, etc.!

I have to limit the number of websites I access at work so I'm unable to visit as often as I wish I could. But when I do visit I stay a while and catch-up w/ everything you've contributed since last time I was there- and I have a ball every time!

Thanks for generously sharing such quality stuff w/ your family of admirers!

Kevin - thank you for the lovely compliment! Would you believe someone actually had the nerve to email me and tell me I tell too much on that blog and OldFashionedHomeCooking ?

And yet I've received dozens of personal emails encouraging me to write more.

Apparently I am "too opinionated" and I shouldn't talk about "the Italians" and how strict they are. I could curl their hair with true stories about Italians! And they forget - I am one too.

just can't please people these days -

Can I get your newsletter too Mama ? I for one love your style Mama. It reminds me so much of my Grandmother and great aunts. They never hesitated to tell it like it is. And us Italians really are opinionated My wife tells me that all the time "I'm just a thick headed Italian" which I actuially take as a compliment these days
