wow amazing make a copy and send it to me ... just joking
great I will research and purchase thanks much
I think this book is mostly her family recipes before she started tweaking all of them trying to get more and more recipes to print. I have her book Just in Time and I dont care for it near as much as I do this one.
Well Cathy- you were right!
I received my used copy of "Two Meatballs in the Italian Kitchen" today...
...and let me tell you- my first impressions are great! It may very well be the most satisying cookbook I've obtained all year! It was a like-new volume purchased used for just 4 bucks (original price $35.00) and it's a thick, beefy volume chock-full of stunning photography and loads of recipes and personal dialogue/conversations.
The cookbook takes a similar approach as Julia & Jacques' book where they offer their own individual renditions of classic dishes- each letting their personal flair shine through.
But in this book there's a lot of bantering, insulting, and even name-calling that goes on between Tuscan born chef Pino Luongo and Queens born/bred Mark Straussman.
So far I've only thumbed through and read the first 30 pages- but it looks like a winner!

Thanks for the extra info
Waiting on these two.
