Thumbs up nestle toll house recipe!!

This is the recipe from the back of the nestle toll house chocolate chip package. I have tried these and they always come out good. One thing I do different is I use the Criso butter sticks. But even with regular butter its good. Anyway enough talk..lol..

NESTLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2 1/4 c. all purpose flour (sifted)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c.(2 sticks)butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 c.(12oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate morsels

PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees F. COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in larger bowl and mix until creamy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Gradually beat in flower mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completly.

After eating this recipe for so many years, it's the only one I like. I always use parkay margarine though. I accidentally made the blonde brownies recipe one day and we like it so much, almost better than the cookies themselves! I've substitued in semi-sweet baking m & ms many times, too.

I love these cookies! I made batches of cookies and gave them out at Christmas.

I always use real butter, though. lol
