Same here Cookie lol. I love a good cookie recipe.
Jon's brother used to give me cookie cookbooks every year for Christmas. He also always expected a nice big batch of cookies when we all have Christmas dinner at his Dads lol. One of Jons fav cookies are eggnog cookies. He loves those around the holidays. |

Eggnog Cookies
2 1/4 cups flour (all purpose) 1t baking powder 1/2t ground cinnamon 1/2t ground nutmeg 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) salted butter, softened 1/2 cup eggnog 1t vanilla extract 2 large egg yolks 1T ground nutmeg Yields about 3 dozen cookies Preheat oven to 350 In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well with a wire wisk and set aside. In a large bowl cream sugar and butter with an electric mixer to form a grainy paste. Add eggnog, vanilla and egg yolks and beat at medium speed until smooth. Add the flour mixture and beat at low speed just until combined. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets 1 inch apart. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Bake for 23 - 25 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. Transfer to cool flat surface immediately with a spatula. Recipe from Mrs. Fields Cookie Favorites cookbook. |
