Default Oatmeal Scotchies Makes 4 dozen

Happy New Year to All... I just made these cookies tonight, they turned out Good, here is the recipe.

    Oatmeal Scotchies:

    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Combine all 4 ingredients in a small bowl mix together.

1 cup butter (2-sticks) softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Stir in 3 cups old-fashioned oats and (11-ounce pkg.) Butterscotch Flavored morsels. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake in preheated oven 375 oven for 7 to 8 min. for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 min. for crispy cookies. Note.. I did 8 min. some turned out a little to soft. Enjoy, Cookie
